Media portal client cannot see tv-server

The client cannot see the server. When I open Media Portal an choose My TV, it just show as if I had a TV card installed. On the pc with the server the client works fine.

Any ideas?

have you installed the TV client plugin on the other machine and deleted any reference to old TV cards in MP itself?

did you specify the correct server name/ip address. are there any firewalls running on the client machine. It may also pay to post the log files to get more assistance

Yes, no references in MP. When I open My TV in MP, it don't ask for an IP adress. I can ping he IP adress from the c where MP is installed.

You have to install "TVE3" & select TVPlugin to install TV Plugin to your MP installation.

Now I'm connected to the TV server, but not to the database. Do I need to install SQL Server on the client pc ?
