Hello,

After updating to today's SVN for both MP and TV-Server, Live TV stopped working . TV just doesn't turn on. Error messages are:

Quote:
2008-04-01 19:16:42.665950 [ERROR][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer:exception while creating DShow graph Error al recuperar un generador de clases COM para el componente con CLSID {B9559486-E1BB-45D3-A2A2-9A7AFE49B23F} debido al siguiente error: 80040154. en MediaPortal.Player.TSReaderPlayer.GetInterfaces(St ring filename)
2008-04-01 19:16:42.666950 [ERROR][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer:GetInterfaces() failed
2008-04-01 19:16:47.729950 [ERROR][MPMain]: d3dapp: An error occured in OnResize - Referencia a objeto no establecida como instancia de un objeto.
TVServer does Timeshifting in Manual Mode, so I guess the problem is down to TSReader...

Any idea????

Thanks a lot in advance!

i've got the same problem, no live tv (multi seat, haven't tested it on the server...)
using MPTVClient i do get a tv stream, but i can only change the channel once, on the second channel change the tv-server crashes.
I'm also getting the "TSReaderPlayer:GetInterfaces() failed" error.

Try uninstalling TVServer and plugin (keep all settings when doing theses) uninstall MP.

Reboot, reinstall MP + svn (can only vouch for 18395 which i have) reinstall same tvserver and plugin.

Hopefully everything back working with all your previous settings.

80040154 that is telling us that something has not registered correctly on install thought this was fixed.

Hello,

For troubleshooting info, here's what I did:

-Uninstall TVServer and plugin. Install one day earlier SVN for TVServer and plugin (31/03). Exactly the same result and the same error.

-Uninstall TVServer and plugin. Install "my" last working version (18062). Everything working again.

I can't uninstall and reinstall the whole MP at the moment as you suggest. Wife is sick at home doning an intensive use of MP

Thanks for your reply,

Hi,
Seems like TSReader it's not registred, try a regsvr32 TsReader.ax from cmd or from run enter regsvr32 & drag TsReader.ax from MediaPortal root dir onto run box & enter.

Regards
Roy

Since the new installer the tsreader comes with the MP svn setup not the tve3 one. After both installations the tsreader should be in the mp root dir and should be registered.

i've also reinstalled mp + server (newest svn) and i still have got the problem.
i manually de- and registered tsreader but it did not change anything.
I've XP Sp3 RC on my pc (client), could that be a part of the problem ?
I'll try to install mp on my server today to see if it is working on it.
MPTvClient works fine, as long as i do not switch channels

Edit :

tested mp on the server and it's working fine, so in my case it might be a pre SP3 problem
