Default Problem With Scheduling Recordings

Hi guys, first post on here
I'm pretty new to media portal but have started using it because of its good support of dvb-s/s2 and HD channels.
I've set up mediaportal working with my Nova-HD-S2 card to watch the freesat/sky channels. This works fine and allows me to record programs which are currently showing or record manually when there are no listings.

However my problem lies when I try to schedule a recording of a program in the guide listings which has not yet started. When I tell mediaportal to record a program in the future, regardless of wethere I am using the tuner or not it will always crash to the desktop without adding the program to the schedule and windows will come up with a message saying "Mediaportal has stopped working, do you want to close this program". Your only option is then to close the program and restart it and again when it restarts it works fine until you try and schedule a future recording.

I have no idea what the problem is, I have tried various different xml guides and restated the computer and rescanned the channels several times but to no avail. Is it that mediaportal simply doesn't have the campability to schedule recordings? or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the help (Rig specs below)

No, works fine here

Can i ask you to update to svn 19158

This involves uninstalling TVServer + client plugin saying no to remove settings, install the mediaportal part of svn update and then the TVServer\client plugin, which you will need to restart (password MediaPortal).

Ok this version will now correctly gather logs, using the MPTestTool from your start menu, recreate your problem and upload the logs using the advanced + feature.

I have the same problem, but I have found a temporary work around:
I start Mediaportal as administrator.

Same problem here and running it as a admin wont help. Ill submit the logs and hopefully someone can shed some light to this.. So just to make it clear, everything else works smooth, except when computer is put to sleep and there's scheduled recording. Computer wont start up to record and when computer is turned on there's a window saying media portal has crashed..

Well.. Ill post my findings here also After lot of shuffling trough these forums, I found out that "windows" hibernate doesnt work that well with MP Power scheduler. So, now that I finally got power scheduler working, Im hibernating the computer with idling X minutes and with this, everything works 90% of the time. Sometimes Im getting strange crashes here and there, but Im happy now, atleast until my first scheduled recording gets really screwed cause of these crashes :p
