I've just changed from older MP to RC1+TVServer (was using old MyTV before), and I'm having HUGE problems setting up my channels in TVServer. I have the correct channel numbers and frequencies from my provider, here: ZON Multimedia I added all channels manually using this frequencies, but TVServer seems to be ignoring them... It just looks at the channel number. Example: RTP1 and PANDA are both channel 6 (The first is C6 and the second is S6). I'm seeing PANDA in both positions, even if the frequency is completely different. Is this that hard? Or I'm missing something? How can TVServer know the difference between "C" and "S" channels? |

Can anyone help me on this?
Meanwhile I've found on some posts, that after changing frequencies, it was necessary to reboot. I did, several times, but the problem persists. Don't get me wrong, the MP developers have done a FANTASTIC job and MP is my choice for almost 1 year now, but setting analog/cable channels manually is just not working right when it comes to use te frequency instead of the channel number (for which we can not even set "C" or "S")! I've deleted all the channels and manually added only RTP1 and PANDA, for testing proposes. I'm now seeing RTP1 in both positions. As you can see, the correct frequencies are in the database... Why are not them being used?!!? Last edited by Wonderm00n; 2008-05-16 at 18:35. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Guess no one uses analog around here this days...
I do have DVB-C, but my cable company only allows their STB and the card seems to be locked to it, so I really would like to know how to force (shouldn't this be default?) TV Server to use the frequencies on analog channels... |

Hi, having the exact same problem when adding the channels manually with a analog signal, but all I get is "snow" and no picture. I will try and do some testing later today. I haven't checked the DB for the frequency settings.
