Installed last Friday's SVN build, however i can't remember my logon details for the sql server! :<
Have tried 'sa' and 'MediaPortal' but that doesn't work. Could've sworn i didn't set a password but it didn't like it being blank. Where are the logon details stored in SQL? Is there somewhere i can view what the login should be? |

Hi,
I have the same problem - After installing SVN 19127, starting TV Server configurator prompts for database login, entering the password fails the test. Tried dbadmin, mediaportal. I also couldn't work out where in SQL Server to see or change the password. Cheers ...Steve

To reset a SQL Server user password:
Log on as adminstrator on the pc with sql server, then open up SQL Server Management Studio Express. Change Authentication to Windows and connect. Under Security->Logins you should see "sa". Open up the properties page and you should see the password fields to edit. |
