About FireDTV

Hi!

I live in Finland and I already have TT DVB-C 2300 Card but that card is not supported in MP So I am thinkinkg to byu FireDTV DVB-C !

My question is that does that card work great with all functions in MP?
Can I use conax cam (ver 4.0) with that card and see (HTV)Pay channels?

Does that card use BDA drivers?

Does TimeShift work?

Does it support HDTV?

IS that card best choise with MP and Windows ( also in future)?

Can I also use my new Imon PAD remote with MP and that card ?

I have read a comparison test between My Theatre and Media Portal, with Fire DTV : Media Portal has not very good results

Hi!

I think that comparison is quite old and now everything should work quite well with MP and FireDTV or will be fixed quite soon!

Hello ,

I ordered yesterday the Fire DTV-S to Digital Everywhere in Austria

DE wait from me a kind of beta test for their hardware on the French num. Sat TV market (pay and Free TV), on Astra and HB4
They wait also from me all the possible tests on Media Portal with the last BDA drivers (from their site), on different PC (it's easy with firewire tuner like this one)

I will also try HDTV and will see if it's OK on Media Portal

I will write here all the results of my tests
