I have used an MCE remote and receiver, as well as a Hauppauge remote (w/ MCE reciever and the IR Server Suite to re-map the remote). The built-in IR receiver doesn't seem to work for any remote other than the Mac one. (The IR suite DOES list "experimental IR receiver support", but I haven't tested it.)
For HDTV, I don't have an HD tuner card. But I have tried some sample HD and Blu-Ray files downloaded at 1080p, and it seems to handle them without trouble. Last edited by milhouse; 2008-05-13 at 13:53. Reason: didn't answer the HDTV question |
