Default Full Size Case and PSU Recommendations

Hi,

Anyone got any recommendations for a full size media centre case (I don't want to have to buy a microATX board?
Also want a good, quiet PSU.

Sorry, should've said. Max price £200 for both. Less if possible.
Thanks in advance

Its a shame you dont want to buy a micro ATX cos the Antec Fusion Case is really nice and is very quiet! set my system up and couldnt believe that the two onboard extraction fans and PSU could make such little noise.

Thanks for the replies. I will look into that case, as it would be considerably cheaper than what I had in mind, and so I could afford to get a mobo.
Any microATX mobo recommendations?
Ideally to be able to take a AMD Athlon XP 2000.
But if I had to another CPU would do.

i have this one and cant fault it. comes with:

PCIe*16
PCIe*1
2 PCI slots
dual DDR2 slots
2 Firewire
6 USB 2.0 ports
4 SATA connections
7.1 onboard surround

It supports AM2 processors so would be fine with your Athlon XP 2000. havent tried the onboard graphics as i have a GeForce 7600 card but im told they are fine. bargain at 50 quid if yo ask me.

Isn't the Althlon XP 2000 socket A, not AM2?

I have a Silverstone LC17 and Silverstone ST30NF fanless PSU, which work very well for me, and takes a full ATX MoBo - having said that, if mATX is OK, then the Antec Fusion does look very good.

Hi there,

I've got my eye on the Antec Fusion case. Does MP support the VFD on the Antec case?

Thanks,
Jack

Yes it does through the iMon settings. All works fine and lovely. It's a really nice case too, so thanks for the recommendations as well.
