| Hi Am looking into either of these cards for a tv tuner with recording function. I understand both have a hardware mpeg2 encoder which is a plus to me as I would like to multitask like surf or chat while recording is ongoing. My main question is between the two, which is a better choice, which has better picture quality? The pvr150 is available for about S$165 (103USD) while I might be able to get the 3300 at a special price of S$100 (63USD), not sure of the actual retail price here yet. Thanks so much for advice, appreciate details! Cindy ![]() |

Country: | Go for the Hauppauge PVR-150 The DV-3300 only encodes the video and then the quality is not fantastic. The PVR will encode both Audio & Video and the quality is alot better. DMAN
