Default Raid storage case

Ok I want to make my own raid storage case and need a case to start with

The odds are I will end up using a htpc case and gutting it and making my own racks
Which is fine

There are a few that I have seen already made for this but there way to expensive and most
can only do 2 or 4 drives but I want to be able to expand more

I want one where the entire front is flat or has a big door

I found these cases to use

silverstone LC04

Does anyone know of any other cases that are like these

Going to use this to connect up to 5 sata drive to then 1 esata cable to the pc and can always add another for 10 drives
http://www.cooldrives.com/cosapomubrso.html

then use this which supports port multipliers in the pc
http://www.cooldrives.com/2poespcrasai.html

In the end if I use one of these cases I could have this done for about $300 and with the option to add support
for another 5 drives for another $100

Very nice cases but the price of the case is the same as I would have in the entire thing using the case I posted

Thanks for the link those are very nice but out of my budget

Sounds like a good plan, and one I have been looking at too. These people seem to do everything SATA that you could want:

3.5 SATA Aluminum External Hard Drive Enclosure for MAC and PC

But for some serious expandable storage, have a look at this:

Storage Rack Overview from Addonics

It would need some work to make it silent I would imagine, but for scaleability, it's the one I am going for I think.
