Could Optimus mini three key be incorporated into case?

I saw on slashdot an article (http://hardware.slashdot.org/article...37202&from=rss) on the Optimus mini three key. It looks like it could be incorporated into a HTPC case very nicely!

The keys can be programmed to show any picture and/or text also combined on the keys/buttons. It is USB, at the very worst it could be placed on the outside or even made into a remote control? Various possibilities come to mind.

EDIT: Price is $100 currently but will go up after April 2nd.

Details on the 3key can be found here. Note that the connection is very slow! Not sure if it slow due to slashdot effect or because of slower Russian connections.
