| I saw 0.2RC4 spiking.. at least when recording a movie. When I tried to setup CrystalCPU to benefit from Cool and Quite I have to setup thresholds when the CPU multiplier is increased and when it is decreased. The problem is that due to that spiking I am always cycling through the modes.. Is there any way to optimized it..?! I guess a more smoother CPU load would not be a realistic MP request!? :? So how are you addressing that problem?!

Country: | Try using RMClock. There are different profiles used by the program. Performance on Demand is Cool 'n' Quiet. Then you can select a Performance/Power Saving Preference. Setting this to Power Saving Level 4 could perhaps help to avoid your spiking problem. Current official version of RMClock is 2.05. In the Forum you will find 2.1 Beta-test release 2. This works very good with my Athlon XP-M. |
