Country: | unfortunitely i can't hide my setup anywhere as i live in a one bedroom appartment. Originally i was going to house it in a built in cupboard in the bedroom, but i could still hear it. Ditched that PC and built one round the mCubed case (linked above) which sits along side my surround amp in the living room. Thinking of building a second silent PC to act as a NAS system with 8+ drives each in silent enclosures. This will go into that cupboard. We'll see how it goes. |

Country: | I use one of these: http://www.thermaltake.com/product/C...8000_index.asp And Zalman cpu cooler and gfx cooler. I intended to netboot mythtv initially but I found that it wasnt really what I wanted so I bought a 2.5" hdd and installed MP instead. This setup is virtually silent from a few meters away. |
