keyboard keys on mouse

Hi

I have a problem that i need some help with.

Since i built my htpc the only interface i use with it is a remote control and acasionally a mouse. I dont have a keyboard in it. I wanted to know if it is possible to make the middle mouse button act like the "escape" key is pressed or " alt F4" because besides media portal i would like to run some full screen applications that can only be exited if any of those keys is pressed.

In another words i want to know how to make my middle mouse button act like "escape" key is pressed.

Can anyone help me?

Hi,
normally you would do that in the settings of your mousedriver-software. That's at least what I did and it works as you described.

Thats a problem. The mouse didnt came with any software at all and its a USB mouse just connect and everything works.
