New HTPC project
After having played around with Mediaportal on a Toshiba laptop with minimum specs, I decided to go all the way. Here is what I planned:
Antac Lifestyle Fusion Cabinet Biostar NF61-V Motherboard (AM2 socket, Sound SPDIF output) Athlon 3500+ AM2 CPU Cooler Master Susurro CPU Cooler (16dBa) SapphireTech X1300 256MB gfx card 1GB DDR IÌ SDRAM (2x512MB) Old Matrox 160G HDD Old Pioneer 10x DVD-rom I bought a WIN-PVR-USB2 tuner for the laptop setup which I intend to use (internal tuner, like the PVR-500, would have been better), and I also have an old Pinnacle PCTV PCI card I could put in for a second tuner. How am I doing? |
