Hi,

Try to select a 720x576 resolution.
If you do this, the TV encoder chips does not have to make a resolution conversion.

Goto screen properties
Select the settings tab
Goto Advanced
Goto the Adapter Tab
Select "List all modes"
Select the 720x576 resultion.

If this does not work, you need powerstrip to make such a resolution for you, or if you have nvidia drivers, you can do this from advanced settings.

Succes,
Ben

This works well but you'll get a 4:3 picture which the TV has to stretch to fill its 16:9 ratio :-/

You could order this and use your RGB-out to TV-SCART

"How-To" (Norwegian, but pics incl.):

S-video is just crap. I used it on my tv for a while, and I thought it was okay,,but once I got the RGB cable s-video is not an option on a crt again!

You MUST use an rgb cable.

edit: and powerstrip. To find the right timing is not easy.
You should search google for powerstrip timings.
Pherhaps you find someone who use powerstrip and rgb cable connected to the same tv set as you.

my timings:

PowerStrip timing parameters:
1024x576=1024,56,48,160,576,1,5,43,20125,41

Once you have powerstrip just copy this line, open powerstrip display configuration, advanced timing options, custum resolutions and on the right side you should see a paste button.

click it and then click add new resolution.

you probably need to restart and add new resolution again.
