Problems with Zalman HD160

Hi,

I'm in the process of building a media PC using the new Zalman HD160 case and I'm experiencing problems getting the remote to work correctly....like selecting channels by tapping in the number doesn't work, can't go back etc.

Can anyone one suggest why and a possible work around?
.. just a note of interest it works ok with media center except I can never find CH4 or 5 whereas with MP I can.....

any help appreciated.

Hi,

I'm using the Zalman HD160 as well - works fine.
It uses a IRTrans display+remote.

The IRTrans remote support was removed and will be back sometimes later.
Look here for a workaround (and some more info above)

The display is also supported:

You need to install the PORT95NT driver to use it (google)

It sounds like you do not have the IRTrans plugin installed. I don't see it on the downloads page (again removed?), you should monitor this thread:

The IRTrans plugin is not needed anymore in the very latest SVN snapshot.

mPod, OK, sorry - didn't realize it had been incoporporated in the main build. steviweavi, I assume the only keys on your remote that work are up, down, left, right and OK (?) If so, it sounds like the symptoms i had when i first installed MP and didn't yet have the IRTrans plugin enabled.

How could you? HWahrmann just completed the implementation in SVN today. :wink:
