channel changing by UIRT

i woul dfind it very useful if i could set a USBUIRT output to an internal channel.
just to illustrate:
im using a dsatbox which comes in on my tuner card on channel 38.
i would like to have a setting that for instance
SAT1 - ch38 - UIRT 003
RTL - ch 38 - UIRT 002
PRO7 - ch 38 - UIRT 007

i know its meant to be done by external channel setup, but that is not working for me as i cant map theh audio right.....

Wouldnt that be an easy solution to that problem????

I think you can map all internal channels to the same frequency, as long as they don't have the same channel number. So try and find the frequency with channel 38 (suppose it's X) and create a bunch of channels 1,2,3 etc. all with frequency X. The manual frequency overides the channelnumber.

edit: mmm after posting this I realised that in this 'solution' you still need the usbuirt to work with internal channels...

you are right, thats the points. as for now you have no possibility to trigger an UIRT action by changing internal channels.

at least as far as i know.....
