Country: | If your tvcard has a CAM then you can decode multiple channels if: - channels are on the same transponder - your cam supports multi-channel decoding Sharing 1 cam among 2 or more cards is not possible atm Frodo |

| In addition to the question above: 1. When does mediaportal decode an encoded recording? The question is based on the fact that i now use a hardware dual tuner SAT receiver/HDD recorder (Inverto M7000) and this one decodes recordings while the cam is free. Is this also possible within MP? 2. For example I watch one channel and record some more encoded channels, is this possible in MP to record encoded channels and then later decode them? greetz, Frank |

Country: | But is the STB actually decoding them in the backgrund for later viewing? I thought it would just record the encripted DVB stream to disk and decode it when playing. After all, you can only play one thing at a time, whether that is live TV or a recording. |
