Disable Basic Home screen

Hi!

I never use the basic home screen and would like to disable it (confuses other users; "Huh? What is this? What do I do now?").

Could this possible be a feature in setup -> general ?

it is. under general, there is a checkbox to start in basic home. uncheck that

that's not what the OP asked.

he is already starting with the normal (not basic) home screen.
when you press the "home" button on the remote when at the home screen it will go to the next homescreen (ie basic).. press it again and it goes back to normal homescreen.

he wants this disabled.

Chenks is right. I never (intentionally) use Basic HS - no need for it.
