Default Frame-by-frame

Hello,

I looked around and asked in the General discussion, but am unable to find a frame-by-frame forward or back option.

Started on: 2007-1-16
last update:

Summary:
New feature. Addition of frame-by-frame forward and back navigation for video content.

Area:
MyTV, MyVideos, and MyDVD

Description:
I would like to see a feature that would allow for the navigation forward and back on a frame-by-frame basis. This would be similiar to Media Player Classics "Framestep" and "Framestep back" or MPlayer's "forward one frame" feature.

Thanks,
mud

there is a slowmotion feature. press pause and then forward/rewind. it depends on the codec how good it works though

ASiDie; absolutely agree - slowmotion would be great as well.

smnnekho; I actually saw a post from you on slowmotion from July this year, was this an undocumented feature you ran across?

I do not get slowmotion when I pause then hit the FWD or REW on my MCE v2 Remote. I will do some more playing with both remote and keyboard.

Which codec are you using to achieve this? I am using nVidia's PureVideo

Thanks,
mud
