Default iMon PAD remote

Any chance of getting "native" support for the iMon PAD remote like there is for the other remote types already?
Pretty please, with sugar on top

Since IMon use non standard IR modulation (the remote only works with the IMon receiver) and they use their own software I don't think it's possible to have a native support. But it's really easy to add full support trough the .Imo file I created a while ago that you'll find somewhere on the forum

Hmmm yeah, using it, but can't get some of the functions to work (anymore) lime "MyMovies", "MyMusic" etc..
Also can't figure out how to get it to display DVDMenu when playing a DVD using the "Menu" butron....
Guess I have to study the iMon software a little more then..

You can use the iMon remote, as described above. The point is that MP cannot be navigated with the pad on the remote control. Example: the main screen with the up/down scrolling items MyMovies, MyRadio, etc.pp. If you use the pad to go through list, it looks like a scroll wheels in a slot machine - way to fast. I think this is a shortcoming of MP, which not only concerns the iMon RC. MP has been (initally) clearly designed by mouse users.

I really wish there was more concern about simplicity and (non-expert) user centric design.

Werll, in the iMon software you can adjust the "Mouse" scroll speed to make it more suitable for MP ...which is what I did...
In that regard, I would like to be able to use the "mouse" buttons on the Pad remote to have the same functionality of a regular mouse in one of the lists screens, so that navigating downwards would scroll the window down. As it is now, I have to move the mouse pointer to the down arrow and press it - not exactly handy

You can also control programs in iMon to use the remote for MP. Granted you have to program all of the buttons within the program to control MP which may be a timely process but you should get full functionality that way.- this is just a theory though.
I've programed a few buttons in iMon to control other apps but not MP. If I get some time to reprogram the entire remote to function within MP I'll do my best to export the file and upload, I'm sure I'll be writing a lot of macro's though.
