Default IP TV Support (no tuner cards required)

I've got a provider that sends UDP multicasts for each tv channel.

Using VLC I can watch and record up to three chamnnels simultaneously. But it is very awkward. Command line is too hard and killing threds via process ID's is too awkward for a nice timed recording system.

For me, recording multiple channels is the killer app. Get it working with with UDP streams and I'll be yours forever!

Some info about the streaming of UDP multicasts is available at http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...m?t=128335&p=1

Cheers.
