Larger preview panel in Home Screen

Hi,

On my 32inch widescreen TV the preview panel on the home page still looks tiny.
I'm using a 16x9 resolution on my display card and there is plenty of room to have a better sized window.
Probably at least a 50% increase.

I know this has also been raised before but a two point size increase in the fonts would be welcomed by the skin developers as well.

you can customize the skin if you want.
Edit the *overlay.xml files to set the correct size.
This is all determined by skin.

The * means music or video as they both have their own overlay so you can set them seperately.

I cannot set it bigger as it would be out of the screen due to overscan.
SO we have to make the skin in a way that it works for all.
The user can, if he wants, finetune the looks then.

It would be good if there were some true 16x9 skins though.
XBMC skins have many variants...
i.e. NTSC, NTSC16x9, PAL, PAL16x9, 720p, 1080i

I suppose when you're dealing with one graphics chipset things are alot easier.

It would be good if there was a configuration option within MP for a 16x9 mode to cater for us widescreen geeks.
