In this time Music/Video e.t.c database stored in programdata\team mediaportal\mediaportal\database (for vista). In my home i use home server, on it i store all my video/ music collection and i use it as tv server, also i have 3 computer and one notebook connected to this server and use mediaportal on it.
My which is use sql server or msde or mysql server to store music/video e.t.c info for access to this info from any mediaportal computer in my network (in this time i share database folder for use, but i don,t able update info about multimedia collection from more then one computer in one time)

I was just going to post almost the same suggestion :-) it seams strange that the setup of video/music/picture shares are located on the clients and not the server, i alsov would like to have the thumbs moved to the server, and then maby syncronized to the clients, so the clients dont need to get the data from the server every time it need the files, and then we dont need to download the data for every client..

I alsov dont understand that i can keep the harmless setting when i reinstall, i think it would be a god idea to add the option to keep harmless setting, and clean the rest.
