My InternetTV Plugin

It would really be nice to have a My InternetTV Plugin that you can set up different publically avaliable streams. Holersoft has an app called "Free Internet TV" with about 700 different streams/channels for various countries (offered in Real and/or Windows media formats).

I know it can be done in the other plugins (by setting up asx files), but it would be nice to have a dedicated plugin for it.

problem with the Free Internet TV program is that you have to pay for it.

.... sort of destroys the whole idea of Media Portal being open source, dont you think???

that dont make much sense

it isnt possible to watch the channels provided by this service outside they're program

Well you pay for their product - which is not needed for MediaPortal (I was just using them as an example). All the streams are free, they have just collected them for use in their product. It should not be that hard to collect a decent number of them from that app and searching on Google.
