Default My tv, recording : warning when disk full

When MP was setup to record a show, it just turned off tv. I tried enabling it, but it went off in a few seconds.

After 5 minutes of fumbling around, I found out that the disk was full (when doing a manual record).

Would it be an idea to pop up the "warning, disk full" also when pre-programmed recordings fail?

Some sort of hdd-space-indicator on the main-screen would be a nice feature.

Send a message via MSN to Nefius

Or when you schedule a recording, it should popup with a message that the recording can't take place because of the shortage of recordingspace

You have it.. There is plugin that displays you various OS statistics from motherboard sensors, including HDD usage.

Not a very elegant solution, and depends on an external piece of software.

Yeah. I was always irritated that you had to install motherboard monitor just to get a disk space indicator. Truthfully I could care less what temperature my HTPC is running at (as long as it doesn't catch fire ).

I have regular recordings so the disk may well have lots of room when I choose to record.

Rather, Id like some feedback when the recording is starting as to why it wont record - instead of simply switching off my tv. Now I know, but I bet there will many users like me who dont know the first time...
