Default Naming Manual Recordings

Hi all,
I have a little but very useful request: unfortunately in Italy so I would to have possibility to give a name to the file for a manual recording. I know that there is quick record scheduler and advanced scheduler mode and my request is for the advanced scheduler dialogs, for example during a schedule there are various dialogs steps:

1) Simple or advanced
2) Channel
3) Mode (single time, weekly, etc)
4) Day
5) Time
6) Duration
7) Quality
8) ... and here a dialog that ask the filename (perhaps under a flag in tv configuration that enables this request....)

Watching the code I think that is possible to introduce a Virtual Keyboard in that section, not ?

There is someone that is in agreement with me? Is it possible to add this feature in a SVN or in future release?

Thanks a lot in advance !!

Dado

Good idea. I'd like my recorded tv to show something different than 'unknown' or 'manual recording'.

Default I Second

This was exactly the feature I was looking for.

I have four recording series now all called "Manual". It would be great if you could give them a name.

Please, Please !

Hi, I'm currently developing a plugin called "TV Recordings" (see http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ne...s-t32367.html). One of my next planned features is to give a recording a name. Stay tuned!
