Default No guide data break into 1 hour chunks.

When my xmltv grabber (XMLTVNZ) breaks from time to time as sites change, I end up with a program called 'no guide data' or some such which goes on ad infinitum.
This makes it impossable to record upcoming programs. Would it be very hard (I think not?) to break up the 'No guide data' program into one hour chunks called 1200, 1300, 0800, 2200 or whatever? This way I could still set up recording if I knew what time my program was going to be on...Very frustrating when there are sporting events on at 3am or whatever that I dont want to miss...

Cheers,
Matt
