Hi folks,

for all who want to test this out. Grab the VideoDatabase.dll and replace the original in your Media Portal directory.

To activate the feature who have to add some lines in the Mediaportal.xml:
Code:

2

OFDB

10

IMDB

10

With these lines you can specify the order and number of the search results of each DB. Setting limit to 0 lets you skip the DB.
Do not change "number", it has to be 2, since there are not more than DBs, yet.

Critics, comments and bugreports are welcome.

Have fun, Flip.

Hi Tomtom,

it is always better to make a backup.

But i do not see any problem in the near future when you use my .dll. If the DB lookup is not dramatically changed, there will not be any problem.

So if OFDB is not implemented in the next official releases you can use my .dll i think without problems.

Flip.

2) can you post the filename please? And / Or do please:
- start MP

Haven´t been able to try this yet,

but is it

#mp that does not find the film?
#or ofdb that does not contain the film?

Searching directly on their website brought me a result for "finding nemo" search

http://www.ofdb.de/view.php?page=film&fid=34763

used quicksearch.

There is also a search field on the home page where you can specify if you search for German title or original title.
Maybe this has something to do with it?

checked again..
seems to be MP since ofdb found the title "Findet Nemo" on the webpage.
Btw. when u search u get a resultlist and a button "Handbuch" to the left. Strange name... think "Manuelle Suche" or something else would be better.
The list says 91 results but only 1/1 pages.
ofdb gives nothing back, imdb only strange results like old french movies.
searching for "Finding Nemo" gives better results from imdb but still nothing from ofdb.
hope this helps.
