Default Sleep Timer Like on TV?

I was wondering if it would be possible to include a sleep timer in MediaPortal, where you could press a button to cycle through a list of options say from 30 minutes to two hours, and then when the timer reaches zero, you could have the option to put the computer in standby, shut down the computer, or just close MediaPortal. (For me, I'd just want MediaPortal to close, but I'm sure others have other needs.

It seems to me this wouldn't be all that hard to implement and would be useful to anyone who watches movies before bed or anything along those lines.

Correct, the "My Alarm" plug-in has this functionallity.
Just go to the configuration ptogram, select plug-in's, select/activate/configure the "My Alarm" plug-in. Than, after starting MP, you find a button for My Alarm (either in Home or in Plug-in) and just follow the flow.

Oh, sorry, I thought the only thing that did was work as an alarm clock. Thanks for the help.

Edit: Although it seems that the only option it gives is to fade volume and to shutdown computer. If the shutdown computer option isn't checked, all it does is stop the playing video. I would prefer if functionality could be added to this that would close Mediaportal.

This has already been suggested many times to be incorporated into MP itself, along with powerscheduler, so that all the power/timer/scheduling are all done from within MP menu's, rather than plugins.
Hopefully this will be a high priority after 0.3 is released.
