Default Subtitle with (Divx) Movies

There are a lot of subtitle files on the net, and much movies :wink:
but i was asking, if its possible to play a movie, an load a subtitle file on it?

http://www.thetomas.nl/spiderman.srt
this is a subtitle file.

maybe is it the best way to give the movie file and the subtitle file the same name..
like spiderman.avi and spiderman.srt

i don't know if it's possible? i hope so!

wow that is really helpful! I F&#&@king hate trying to get subtitle to work with media portal. Your comment is so amilerating.

and now, what do u think after this answer, that u post here, anyone will help u or do something about subtitles. I think not, be cool and friendly, use the search function in the board, and maybe u will find a answer. :roll:

My answer was to the above quote. I'm sorry if this was misunderstood.
Indeed you have to name your subtitle file the same as the moviefile in order to make it work, as already proposed by "thetomas"
