My System

Default Uptime Counter

My install is pretty stable at the moment and what I'd love to see is am 'uptime counter' to prove how stable it is.

Hopefully this will be a simple skin addin but I don't know where to look

I would like to see this to.
My main system has been running non-stop for about three weeks. It started from a clean install and a CVS from 2 Feb 06.

WAF has been through the roof. There for a while I would get the "your messing with it again?" question all the time.

My CVS/SVN/Skin/Plugin test system (son's computer) is a little different story. It's to be expected though, it is always useing the latest and "greatest".

Should be easy enough to do - just parse out the uptime from the data which comes back from the systeminfo command entered in a cmd window. example below:
Code:
...
Original Install Date: 2/14/2006, 10:03:58 AM
System Up Time: 2 Days, 0 Hours, 1 Minutes, 10 Seconds
System Manufacturer: Dell Computer Corporation
System Model: OptiPlex GX270
System type: X86-based PC
...
There is more info which I didn't show (before and after).

I made a simple plugin for my own use to see XML download time and remaining disk space, I then added version number of MP. I added an uptime counter today. At the moment it is hardcoded for my drives, but if your interested I could change this and share it.

I have uploaded a new version on my web site:

http://www.nordicfx.com/software/mpinfo.rar

It now enumerates all drives on the computer instead of hardcoding.

Woot

Brilliant!!!

Will try it soon as I get home.

Do you thinkit would also be worth adding the versions of some DX files like the ones needed for multiple tuners? I think this About screen is immensly useful.
