Default Your EPG on the web

I hope this is in the proper section if not admins feel free to move it accordingly.

One feature that i would really enjoy would deal with the EPG and setting the shows you want recorded. Its a very easy feature to use when you are in front of your HTPC but i usually want to record shows when i am not coming home to my HTPC. It would be an amazing feature/plugin if you could host your personal EPG on the web somewhere, set the recordings you want from anywhere and have it notify your HTPC that these changes were made and therefore make it record.

Is this at all possible? Does it even make sense?

This is possible right now with the WebInterface plugin. It can be found here: http://www.mp-webinterface.com/

I think this is exactly what you are looking for.
