Lightbulb Decode multiple channels

Is there any way you can decode multiple channels from multiple tuners with the same card and CA-module?

Itīs might hardware-based, but it would be really nice, so you donīt need to have multiple cards to pay for =)

If your tvcard has a CAM then you can decode multiple channels if:
- channels are on the same transponder
- your cam supports multi-channel decoding

Sharing 1 cam among 2 or more cards is not possible atm

In addition to the question above:
1. When does mediaportal decode an encoded recording?

The question is based on the fact that i now use a hardware dual tuner SAT receiver/HDD recorder (Inverto M7000) and this one decodes recordings while the cam is free. Is this also possible within MP?
2. For example I watch one channel and record some more encoded channels, is this possible in MP to record encoded channels and then later decode them?

The simple answer is NO.
The cam is only used while timeshifting/live viewing.

But is the STB actually decoding them in the backgrund for later viewing?

I thought it would just record the encripted DVB stream to disk and decode it when playing. After all, you can only play one thing at a time, whether that is live TV or a recording.
