Country:  |  Seperate EPG viewer / Recording scheduler for TVServer Started on: 2007-08-23 last update: 2007-08-23 Summary: Seperate EPG viewer / Recording scheduler for TVServer Description: I'm using the TVServer and Mediportalclient on two seats. The server meets only the requirements for streaming but none for graphics. (only PIII @ 1,2 GHz - doing a good job! even streams HDTV! tested with one client only...) The Server is accessible via SSLExplorer/uVNC from the internet. The idea is to be able to check the TV-Program from anywhere and trigger a recording. The mediaportal as the whole application is not able to run on the server: limited directX support -> MP-Window is empty. (No updated graphicdrivers available) Thats why I would welcome a small and simple application, which lists all channel's programs where I could trigger a recording timer what do you think about that? Marc |

Country:  |  There will be available a webinterface in the near feature, that lets you access the tvserver from a remote site to check the epg, add recordings and so on. Have a look on: http://www.team-mediaportal.com/news...e_mistake.html All what you need, is a webbrowser... |
