Volume control, a largel scale (more steps)

More control for volume of Media portal. Maybe 20 steps instead of 10?

Description:
Currently there are 10 steps for volume control in Media Portal. It seems that different TV channels and even commercials in the same channel have different volume levels. If one adjusts the volume scale so that 1 (from 1 to 10) is quiet in the day time, it can be fairly loud in the evening when rest of the family is sleeping. Also level 1 can be very quiet in one channel but quite loud in another channel. I believe that larger scale would help. One could make level 1 very quiet in the loudest channel and in another channel all I have to do is to add volume maybe to 2 or three if volume is too low.

I hope I am making sense and I believe this could be fairly easy to implement.

Anyway I have been using MP for two years now and for the last two months it has been my only DVB-C tuner. It is great and it will be even better when the stability increases (I need to restart every few days but same applies to ordinary digiboxes also :-)

I should have searched the forum. There is a way to get more control. Jus change the volume control to logarithmic version in the mdeiaportal setul / general / volume.

That does the trick. So you can forget about this suggestion.
