Default Is this the cheapest genuine MCE remote

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MCE-2005-REMOT...QQcmdZViewItem

Can anyone beat this from a seller on price, first sub £19 approx 28 Euro's (delivered) MCE Remote that i have found.

Remember this has the 2 emitters supplied, so is a complete oem package.

Regards

Looks ok to me - I have the same type of remote.

If you are using XP home, you need to get the drivers off XP Media Centre or XP Pro. I think I grabbed mine from an XP Pro machine.

Sorry can't remember the name of the files you need (set it up months ago). But if you google the remote and XP Home, you will find the right info.

Damn!

I bought an MCE remote (OEM package) from eBay just two weeks ago, and the cheapest I could find was £20.85 (inc P&P).

So yes, I reckon that's the cheapest.

I bought mine off ebay as well, paid about AUD$45... That is a good deal.

Yes, just plugs into a USB port, preferably one with +5v standby power to it, so it can power on, as well as off from hibernate\standby.

Should immeditely be recognised by xp pro as ehome receiver, which i see you have.
