I am a newbie to this, and having just bought an Afa Tech AF9005 USB TV stick I can't figure out how to configure this software to discover my hardware. Any help would be hugely appreciated

If you card is not discovered in configuration, you will most likely need to do this.

was anyone able to get this tuner to work through media portal?

If so what does the the capture card defintion file input look like I;m having trouble getting it to recognise the tuner.

Shango, post your email and I will send you the file to replace to get mp to recognise the tuner. The only problem is at the moment that mp is unable to change the channels. I have no idea how to fix that problem.

Did you manage to get Afa Tech AF9005 USB TV stick to work with mediaportal?
I need this file as well please as I have Afa Tech AF9005 USB Tv Stick with the name AIC printed on it.
I got it off eBay.co.uk
