Default can't find the external source option.

i found here MediaPortalSetup Television - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation

at the autotune section
that it should be possible to set
External

* Type: Received by tv card, Received by external settop box
* Input via: CVBS#1, CVBS#2, SVHS, RGB
* Channel number on settop box

i am using the current stable RC1 version of mediaportal...

The options are now on the Analog tab, in the channel text box, enter the channel number used by the external set top box, and then in the source drop down choose the input that you've connected the STB to, see attached screen shot (which is from the TVServer add channel dialog).

The CVBS options are composite, just try CVBS #1, that should probably work.
