Sorry. http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com/10533 is my link after swapping mediaplayer11 for 10, then running setup and autotune on each of the tuners on my fusion card. The setup looked fine but MP still crashes at the same place. Grassy |

Country: | Sorry Grassy, but now you have me confused.... Your original post implied that MP "crashed during setup wizard" - which is the title of this thread. But, you have just run the "standalone" setup, and it works fine..... So, where is MediaPortal crashing now? What do you mean by "MP still crashes at the same place"? Could you please describe the steps you take leading up to "MP crashing"? And post the MediaPortal.log file at pastebin, that shows the crash? |

Inside of media portal, in the region selection screen, I choose | Australia>victoria>Melbourne and get to see the channels listed for about half a second - then it crashes. just as it did for Global Fusion. I assumed he meant inside the media portal app and not the standalone too. Grassy |

Country: | OK, well don't use the setup process inside the main MediaPortal application. Use the standalone MediaPortal Setup to configure MediaPortal. I have seen a few reports of the setup wizard causing problems, so I suggest you avoid it. I assume that you are able to view live TV OK now? |

Country: | Yes, it worked once after I reinstalled MP but now I have done something to it and can't get V going again. I have to hunt for a tutorial on setting up for Australia as I seem to be always at the oint where there is no tuner information for the sattions when I try to set it up. Also, as a side note, I have to work out why I get a satellite image for Gemany when I am in Melbourne . Issues aside, 'm loving MP. Grassy. |
