DiSEqC don't work

Hallo

I have installed a DiSEqC 1.0 with 4 LNB.
1W, 5E, 13E and 19E.

I have tryed to setup DiSEqC 1.0 ind the Settings.
On the DiSEqC,
LNB1 is= 1W
LNB2 is= 5E
LNB3 is= 13E
LNB4 is= 19E

I set the DiSEqC to:
LNB1 = 1W = Level 1 A/A
LNB2 = 5E = Level 1 B/A
LNB3 = 13E = Level 1 A/B
LNB4 = 19E = Level 1 B/B

But MediaPortal only connect the first LNB = 1W, why???

I have tryed Mytheatre, and there the DiSEqC and all LNB i working!!!

I have af "Hauppauge NOVA ci S" with Technotrend DBA drivers
(old one, with works just fine)


Did i setup LNB wrong???

got the same problem on WinXP MCE 2005 and Technisat SkyStar 2 pci card. when i scan satelites (3LNB) TV server find only first satelite on DiSEqC 1.

Hello!
try attached files they are for TVServer RC1 build 19453.
files contains two patches:
1. I have added limited support for committed switches ( DiseqC specification 1.0) , it should work with DiseqC 1.1, 2.0 and 2.1. I have only one switch (v1.0) and its working very stable on AverMedia A700 card with bda drivers, so i cant test other cards/diseqc combos.
In SetupTV DiseqC settings select Comm1,2,3 or 4.
2. Fix for russian NTV plus provider. NTV Plus using Circular polarization, but SetupTV with Circular support from SVN ( LNB freq Lo 10750,Hi 0 and Switch 0 and Circular polarization ) scanning only Left polarization, i found out what with universal polarization and freq override to Lo 10750 , Hi 10750 and Swicth 0 TVSetup able to scan all transponders, so i have added new LNB type NTV Plus.
Last patch imo kinda wierd and i think it can be caused by 1. bad bda drivers from AverMedia or 2. incompatibility between Microsoft BDA Circular realization/definition and NTV Plus one.

edit: working only with generic bda cards, not going to work with haupage, technotrend, tecnisat and twinhan, because MP have separate code for ^^ cards.

I have same problems with Avermedia DVB-S Pro card based on SAA7135 chip.. Diseqc switch is not working. Is it possible to add support to tvserver ? I have SVN 19603 installed..

Hello Zeee!
Please test patch and reply in thread about your findings, if you will have positive results, ill contact somebody from MP team for SVN patch.


Save original tvlibrary.dll from tvserver directory (usualy "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\") and replace from archive http://ts.nox.lv/drazas/mp/TVLibrary.zip RC1 19603.

i have changed(in compliance with DiseqC specification) DiseqC commands send by TvServer .

example for Simple1AA before:
SendDiSEqCCommand(0x00);
after:
SendDiSEqCCommand(0xe01038f1);

command description:
E0 - Framing byte: Command from Master, No reply required, First transmission
10 - Address byte: Any LNB, Switcher or SMATV (Master to all...)
38 - command byte: Write N0 Write to Port group 0 (Committed switches)
F1 - data byte: data divided in 2 bit groups 1111 0001, high to clear lines and low to setup lines: 1111 clear all lines and 0001 for set pos AA (0010 for pos AB, 0100 for pos BA, 1000 for pos BB).

Unfortunately same thing again... My first dvb-s card is working ok (working with and without your patch) but avermedia card still not able to run diseqc switch...

Which driver are you using with your A700 card ?

im using driver 3.5.0.65_SW_Encoder_3.2.1.62_DVBS_Plug_In_1.0 for not hybrid A700 card.

i have re-uploaded tvlibrary.dll to http://ts.nox.lv/drazas/mp/TVLibrary.zip.
