Is this your remote drivers for the mce remote on xp pro sp2-image02.jpg does it have either microsoft or philips RC6 on back.

Drivers should be installed automatically if above.

KB905213: Download details: KB905213 ? Device Manufacturer Update for eHome Infrared Receiver

KB912024: Download details: Update Rollup 2 for eHome Infrared Receiver for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 (KB912024)

Just found these links on the Hauppauge website for this remote, it says both are needed for xp as this is a Vista designed remote.

Weird. Looks exactly like my MCE remote ... which works perfectly with MP without me installing any additional drivers on XP.

I notice though the system requirements say :

Supported Operating Systems: Windows XP Media Center Edition

Guess MCE is built differently enough to XP Pro to have this problem. Not having tried MCE, I can't really comment.

no problem installed just fine

but this here
KB905213: Download details: KB905213 ? Device Manufacturer Update for eHome Infrared Receiver
told me that another KB is needed and i have searched it and found out that its already included in rollup2 that i have already installed...
