Not sure of the top of my head but I'm sure I remember having an option to cancel (maybe that was from my MCE days). As PD says, worst case you hit record from the guide and you can stop the recording then go back to your live tv channel.

I am not sure, I understand it. How do I know if the channel is going to change for a scheduled recording so that I can press the Record button?
