Haupage 1300 MCE not displaying TV Channels but does pick them up!! EPG not working

Hi all,

I'm really hoping someone can help me. I'm a bit of a novice with all of this but am quickly learning!!

I have recently installed MediaPortal onto a dedicated machine. It works absolutely fine and is great for all my movies etc. I then decided to go to the next level and bought myself a TV card. After a bit of research (mainly on this forum), I went for the Hauppage 1300 MCE (with remote). Last night I installed it onto my system and all appeared to be going well until i tried to watch TV. (the hardware installed fine using the drivers supplied on the CD and I was able to do a channel search in MediaPortal which picked up all the channels i was expecting). Problem is, I can't view any of them and my Program Guide isn't populating.

As i said, I'm a bit of a novice at all of this so if someone can take the time to explain how I can install this correctly and get it working (in some sort of step by step guide) I'd be very greatful (mainly because I think the other half will kick my proverbial if i spend another night trying to figure it out!!).
