Hauppage remote not working?

I've just fitted my two WinTV Nova S2 cards but the supplied remote doesn't appear to be doing anything... I think it has 43 buttons (if I counted right!) so I selected the 45 button remote in MP config.
Unfortunately none of the buttons seem to do anything at all! Am I missing a step somewhere? I've tried plugging the IR receiver into both cards but it doesn't seem to make much difference...

(on the upside BBC HD worked 1st time out of the box

although I need to have a serious EPG / XMLTV session tomorrow night to make it wife friendly... and play with interlacing settings on SD as the edges of logos/boxes on screen (such as BBC News banner) have an annoying flicker...

Hey, if you search the Media Portal homepage, you will find a driver for the Hauppauge remote. I just got mine to work.

Oddly enough, it works now. I swapped the IR input to the other card and also activated the Hauppage IR blaster plugin (presumably this is required?!) and it worked
