| MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3.0 RC2 Windows Version: x86 server 2003 CPU Type: Core solo HDD: 40GB toshiba Memory: 2GB Motherboard: MSi 945GT Speedster Motherboard Chipset: 945GT Motherboard Bios: 1.40 Video Card: Intel GMA 950 Video Card Driver: 6.14.10.4820 1. TV Card: Hauppage PVR 150Satelite/CableTV Provider: HTPC Case: Comcast Hey all, I am having a really hard time getting the TV function to work properly - I have a PVR 150 that works fine with the Hauppage WinTV aplication, but when I scan channels in MediaPortal....the program picks them up no problem, but that's it...it doesn't seem to add them to the box that is supposed to be a list. I'm really sorry, I am new to HTPC stuff and MediaPortal...Ive searched and search in the forums but I haven't found anything relevant. When I start Mediaportal and and try and turn on the TV, it won't turn on... Can someone point me in the right direction? I don't know how to proceed or where I can find the answer to how to get the TV channels in to the program. |

Country: | Did you install the TV-Server V3? The latest version can be found here: http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/tv...ilds-f197.html For installation see the Wiki: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/TV-Engine_0.3 After you install this it should work. P.S. dont be sorry... this is what the forum is for: helping solve problems and improving MP together! Welcome to the MP community.

Country: | Do you know GraphEdit? How about .xml? I'm learning the NTSC tuners are difficult to get them going. Looking at the definitions file you can find your graphedit components and wires... would you agree with them, or have I lost you? I finally got the NTSC half of my 1600 working last weekend. |

Country: | That remind my experience with my HVR1600... Could you send me your capture capturecarddefinitions.xml (that you can find in the mediaportal folder) and tell me the ID of your card (control panel, system, hardware tab, device manager, right click on you pvr 150, detail tab)? Damien |
