HELP: Setup Australian Channels on WinFast DTV1000-T

I'm trying to setup MediaPortal on my XP machine. I still couldn't figure out how to scan the channels. When I tried Auto Tune it
couldn't find anything. When I used ScanChannelsBDA it returns some values. But I don't know how to apply them on MediaPortal.

Anyone has experience with WinFast DTV1000-T? Did it find the channels for you? If not, how did you set the values?
I found the DVB-T tab in setup but don't know what values I need.

You really need to get Autotune to work properly. Please post your support template and the MediaPortal.log file from when you ran Autotune - this may give us a clue to the problem.

Also, what city are you in? I ask this because there is a known problem with Autotune capturing the wrong frequencies for Australian users....

It doesnt look as if your card is working properly and the error log seems to say your using the WDM driver. You have to use a BDA driver (which ScanchannelBDA seems to show is present). Looking at the logs Moniker Filter and the one present in capturecardsdefinitions.xml, they are different so no doubt it wont find your card. Id suggest talking to a dev on IRC if no-one responds properly here, as you may have a different revision card to whats supported.

When I select BDA (in TV capture card) a message pops up: Unable to create graph for this device (what does that mean?)

If I ignore this and click on Auto Tune it shows: This device does not support auto tuning.

Let's say I select BDA and how can I apply those information from ScanChannelsBDA.log on DVB-T form?

Forget about ScanChannelsBDA - your DVB-T card is not being recognised by MediaPortal.

As Callifo pointed out, it looks like the moniker (ven_14f1&dev_8802&subsys_665f107d&rev_05) of your card is different from the one that is contained in the CaptureCardsDefinitions.xml file. You can try editing the CaptureCardsDefinitions.xml file yourself, or contact dman_LFC and he will assist you...

I simply replaced the string with the one above in the XML-file. Then the Autotune worked perfectly :-)
The only thing is... the pictures are not very smooth and when I switch channel it takes quite long to change picture. I also saw the CPU usage moving ~70-100%. Maybe my machine is too slow. I'll check the other posts to find out more and will also use the template next time.

If you post your full details in the Support Template (see my earlier post) then I am sure we can suggest some changes you can make to fix these issues, too...
