I need a little hint for the web epg. The webepg runs as expected without problems. After saving my lists with config.exe I start the webepg.exe. After that nothing happens. There is no tvguide.xml (or temp-writing file) created in the xmltv folder.

Would somebody be so kind and describes the way to an functioning tvguide.xml ?

Thanks in advance.

How use WebEPG with Media Portal 1 and TV Server

Make sure you are using latest svn MediaPortal and TV-Server 1.0 RC1 svn-builds - MediaPortal Forum

Hope this helps, you do not need any of the updates linked to in the first post if using latest svn.

Thanks for the quick answer but I already read this steps and the procedure does not lead to an functioning tvguide.xml.
Nobody else seems to have this problem so I guess the webepg.exe in the last svn, which I am already using, is working.

I just got the same problem with the latest build. Now WebEPG does not write any xml anymore. So you're not the only one.

Question Where can I get a TVguide.xml ?

I tried today to get configured the webepg with MP, but without sucess. I have the same problem as you have: I do not find/get created the TVguide.xml

Is there anyone who can help or giving me some explanation to this issue.

Somehow i've suddenly run into this problem as well. It appears webepg now writes the xml file to a directory in "my documents/All Users/Application Data/ Team Mediaportal/Mediaportal/xmltv". There is however no xmltv.dtb there, so the tv-server plugin will not import properly. I go around this atm by copying the old dtb file, but something is surely wrong here?

This is correct.

- RC1 had the webepg file in the old location in the MediaPortal directory.

- Starting with this: http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/me...19069-a-39444/ it was moved to the new location (Application Data). (see 5th post for details).

- In RC2 the (xmltv.dtb) will be correctly moved.

I read this thread and the 5th post of the tread mentioned. However, that post should (as far as I understand; I'm new to this) relate to people using TV-Server alongside Mediaportal.
I do not use TV-server, during instalation I opted for the simple internal TV guide option. After configuring PM and WebEPG and then using the program the TVguide files still appear in "my documents/All Users/Application Data/ Team Mediaportal/Mediaportal/xmltv". Trying to import the files in the MP guide while they are in this location does not work. At the moment I use the same workaround as Kingmob, I just copy the files (works fine), but probably there is a better way, and I'm just to inexperienced (read "stupid") to find it.
I am using RC2, with the latest SVN (19843) installed.
