When I play most .AVI files I get File info (green) over movie - this did not happen in RC1. All files play OK on PC
eg Nero show - WMP etc

Hi,

how does the info look like, besides "green"? (Where is it placed, what infos do you get, etc...you can make simply a screen shot by pressing "Print" on your keyboard).

Could be the ffdshow OSD, Start->Programs->ffdshow->Video Configuration->OSD (uncheck)

I did not select OSDor touch ffdshow but I will have a look.

Info top left shows resolution, bit rates etc
